Why did you join Rotary:

My father was a Rotarian in the 50’s and 60’s and I grew up with a sense of “rotary family”. There came a time in my life when my want and my ability to lend a hand connected, Rotary seemed the natural choice.

What aspect of Rotary do you most enjoy:

Together our High-Rise Club makes a difference. We have made the world a better place for so many on a local, national and international level. The club has made a difference to my life as well. I am part of a community that has an enormous generosity of spirit that just keeps coming. There is such joy in giving AND we have so much fun doing it.

What most surprised you about Brisbane High Rise:

I knew joining would be a good thing to do, but the extras.....friendship, kindness, laughter, acceptance and they have a way of encouraging me to challenge myself. I know I am a better person today because of making the decision to join. Thank you Rotary!
